Frequently Asked Questions

  • Files must be in Excel format. To get around this requirement, we suggest that you share your price list with us and we can give you a quote to convert it into an Excel file.

  • As standard, all images should be .jpeg format, approx. 50kB to 100kB in size. With some minor customisation, we could easily adapt the price list creation Macro to work with other images formats, but the only key consideration is that all images would need to be the same format.

  • No, there is generally no limit. The key consideration would be the file size that is being attached. A lot of email systems will not accept emails with attached files that exceed 15MB to 20MB in size. This can usually be controlled by using smaller image sizes. If the price list is very large, we could send it as a link, where there would be no limit.

  • Yes, there is no problem to include full colour images.

  • There is essentially no limit, we have done sends that exceed 1000 recipients. It could easily be larger than that, or you might consider breaking up your send list into lots of perhaps 500 or 1000 sends per run.

  • In general, if your version of Excel supports Macro’s, then it will probably work OK. We can easily do some testing to quickly determine if there will be any problems.

  • We only support PC’s that are running Windows operating system. If you are running Excel software on Apple computers in your business, then we could run some tests and see if the Macro’s will run, but there is a high chance that some of the commands will not translate well. Depending on the complexity of the problem, it may be possible to develop a custom solution for Apple environment.

  • No, for sure the Macro’s will not be compatible between Excel and Google Sheets. We suggest that you subscribe to M365 as a quick work around.

  • Yes, we can easily support customers being allocated to different price lists.

  • Yes, there is no problem to incorporate custom links within your price list. These links can be to any online contents, including Dropbox/OneDrive pages, website pages, YouTube contents, Social Media pages etc.

  • Yes, the cover email facilities are provided and can be as detailed as you like.

  • Yes, you can CC or BCC anyone on these emails, including dynamic emails addresses, such as different rep emails across your customer list.

  • Yes, this should be no problem. We usually create the price list files with the customer name at the beginning of the file name and a date stamp at the end, something like “ABC Customer_MY COMPANY PRICE LIST- 2024 01 01. The exact file format can be easily customised to your needs.
